From June 9th to 11th, the 7th World Litopenaeus vannamei Conference, sponsored by Shanghai Ocean University and the Asian Institute of Technology, and organized by the Zhejiang Institute of Freshwater Fisheries, Huzhou Normal University, and the Zhejiang Provincial Agricultural Foreign Cooperation Center, was held in Huzhou, Zhejiang Province.

Over 300 Chinese and foreign scholars and entrepreneurs from 13 countries, including the United Kingdom, Australia, Israel, Thailand, India, and the Philippines, gathered in Huzhou to exchange ideas on the theme of Litopenaeus vannamei breeding innovation and sustainable development, with the aim of jointly promoting mutual benefit, win-win cooperation, and sustainable development of the global Litopenaeus vannamei industry.Leaders and experts such as Chen Liangwei, Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Luo Yi, Vice President of Shanghai Ocean University, Gao Feng, Deputy Mayor of Huzhou Municipal People's Government, Tong Jingyi, Deputy Director of the Zhejiang Branch of China News Service, Lu Xiaohua, Deputy Secretary-General of Huzhou Municipal People's Government, Li Mingshuang, Director of the Evaluation and Demonstration Division of the National Aquatic Products Technology Promotion Station, Ouyang Jie, a cadre from the Fisheries and Fishery Administration of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, Lu Yuanlin, President of the Zhejiang Aquatic Products Society, Professor Liu Liping, President of the Asian Aquatic Products Society, and Professor Neil Loneragan, former President, attended the conference to provide guidance.
